Airtime was formed by Dudley Council CVS some 6 years ago and their aim is to give people with COPD, and other breathing problems, a social forum to meet with people with similar conditions.
They meet for 2 hours once a week in Dudley, with a view to helping people who may be suffering from isolation and loneliness, a typical condition of people suffering from COPD.
Are you living with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) or a different breathing disease?
Then why not join your local friendly Airtime group, where you can access free advice and support and the opportunity to socialise with people who understand what you are dealing with.
Held every Thursday 13:00-15:00 at DY1 Building, Stafford Street, Dudley, DY1 1RT.
Airtime takes pride in offering:
- Gentle exercise such as Tai Chi
- Social activities e.g. bingo, quizzes, cards
- Seasonal crafts
- Educational talks
Attending Airtime can and has helped to reduce social isolation and improve quality of life, both physical and mental health. And there’s free tea and coffee!
