How you can help us to ensure the vaccination clinics run to time

Many of our patients have previously attended a vaccination clinic at the surgery, so will be familiar with how these work.

The clinics are relatively fast paced, therefore, to ensure they run smoothly and to time we have a few polite requests:

Please attend your appointment at the time stated – please do not come early as this creates problems with the flow of traffic on the car park and patients in the waiting room

If you are able to walk or share lifts please do so. We have a limited number of parking spaces.

We will be using the normal entry /exit this year.

Please use the check in screen on arrival, there will be a member of staff to assist if there are any problems.

If you are wearing a coat, please ensure you take it off in the waiting room before you are called in.

Please be ready for your appointment and pay attention to the call screen in the waiting room.

Please ensure you are wearing clothes that provide easy access to your arm(s) – We lose a lot of time each year whilst patients remove numerous layers of clothing.

Our clinics are vaccination clinics only, please do not ask the clinician to look at anything else or provide advice on anything non-vaccine related during your appointment as this causes delays for other patients. If you need to speak to a clinician about a non vaccine related problem, please book an appointment at reception.

Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and will ensure that we run to time.
