An amber heat health alert has been issued for the West Midlands, in place from 11:00 AM on 22 June 2026 until 11:00 PM on 26 June 2026.
During this period, please take extra precautions to stay safe in the heat. Follow advice on how to keep your home cool, stay hydrated, and avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures.
We also encourage everyone to check in regularly on vulnerable individuals, including older adults, young children, and those with existing health conditions.
