What you should do:
- Stay well hydrated – drink plenty of fluids
- Keep out of the sun during peak hours (11am–3pm)
- Keep your home cool by closing curtains/blinds
- Check on family members, friends, and neighbours who may be at higher risk
- Make sure medications are stored correctly (check advice if unsure)
If you feel unwell or experience symptoms related to heat (e.g. dizziness, headache, nausea), please seek medical advice.
